Whatever you do, don't waste your money on this law firm. The lawyer we had would go missing frequently and we were on top of our case and knew what was happening before she did. She would constantly try to excuse her absences with being in a trial and say that she would put the same effort and attention to our case but never did! And she continually charged us for every single interaction no matter how small and when we finally were about to go to court they dropped our case because we called them out for not doing their job. And we could never reach her! Their offices will call you a million times to "check in" or for your review. And JUST TODAY before I finally decided to write this review I received another phone call from their office about a refund (we're almost a year out from when we hired them) and the billing staff member thought she had hung up but she didn't and I heard her start mocking me to another staff member. This firm is not worth the money for the mediocre service they provide. I was married for two years with a pre nup, no kids, and no real estate. Just savings accounts. My divorce process cost over $15,000 while my ex-wife’s attorney charged her approx. $4,700 for the same time frame.

Do NOT recommend This has been the worst legal experience we have ever had.We paid $7,300 and have been in litigation for three years, We ended up doing most of the footwork ourselves because communication from the firm was extremely poor. We were consistently the ones coordinating with other attorneys, therapists, and professionals because we could not get answers from Our attorney "Roseanna "never once appeared in court in person only via Zoom/Skype while we appeared in court multiple times, and my husband’s ex-wife drove over two and a half hours to attend hearings in person. Mind you we live 15 mins away from Genesee co. After paying 1500 in Dec 2 weeks after paying 3,000 for Psychological evals . We asked for a billing breakdown& 4 days later they withdrew from the caseJan 16th .jan 22 they withdrew unauthorized 1800 from his account saying it was within the retainer agreement. Then say pay another 1000& well represent u again. Place is a joke

Attorney didn't use any evidence, like none of the 200 pages. She asked a question or two. Essentially just a really expensive witness. Lost miserably and don't know how. Billing was really aggressive though, can at least say that part of the business is.

I was called every week to leave a google review for the firm. Which the first call was within hours of paying a retainer. My lawyer quit 2 months into my case and the replacement lawyer was horrible. she was very rude and didn't listen or care at all. I spent $12k to get no where! This is the worst law firm i have ever dealt with.

RUN the other way! I’m a professional, well-educated woman who believed I had done my research in hiring a competent and aggressive attorney. I was very wrong. I hired this firm in February after my previous attorney became unavailable. The initial response was a quick callback, thorough case interview, and what seemed like solid support. Based on that, I paid a $5,000 retainer. Everything went downhill from there. I was assigned to Attorney James Higgs. Communication was nearly nonexistent. You cannot reach staff—they will only tell you to contact the attorney directly. He only responds via text (when he feels like it) and refuses to use email, likely to avoid a paper trail. He made no progress on my case. He failed to forward motions filed against me, dropped motions we had discussed once we got to court, and didn’t even submit interrogatories during a six-week period. I am filing a complaint with the Michigan Bar Association and considering a malpractice case against him.

Absolutely the most UNPROFESSIONAL and UNORGANIZED law firm. They will overcharge you. I had the most simple custody case of changing my daughter’s last name, and putting myself on the birth certificate. It cost me $3,700 and I still didn’t have a court case. I ended up having them withdraw and just took over doing it myself.

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM. Not only will they do as close to nothing to represent you in court, they'll take your money without notice, refuse to explain where that money was used, cut all contact then more than double the amount they say you still owe in a lawsuit years later. Then, they'll lie about having you served by someone on their payroll, causing you to miss a hearing you have no knowledge of. When you then try to settle this out of court, to avoid having your paychecks garnished, and pay the original balance they claim you owe - while STILL not showing you were your funds went - they'll continue to "ghost" you. (I had to shorten my review, full review on other sites)

This is the worst lawfirm. They are dishonest and lack empathy for their clients. If you want a lawfirm to nickel and dime you for every communication you have with them this is for you. Unfortunately not everyone can afford that. They do not care about you at all. Was charged 1400 for a two month case that was settled or of court with a dishonest lawyer who couldn't complete her duties in a timely manner. I had to file for child support myself while the lawyer made excuses on why she wasn't following through. Just an awful experience!!!

Terrible experience with this firm. Rarely returned my calls or messages. I had to file my own motion 2 hours prior to the deadline as they couldn’t get it done in time. The attorney Agreed to things without my consent. I now have to start paying child support after 7 years of not paying because of their unilateral decisions without my consent.
