Hired Law Firm
I called for a initial consultation on a complex Soc. Security disability case. They gave an option of having an appointment with a "specialist" on the phone the next day instead of in person, if I preferred. When the person called me (10 min. late), she could not understand the details and kept getting my information wrong. When I asked to speak to someone who understand my case, she put me on hold for 5 min to speak to her supervisor, and gave me totally incorrect information in the end.
Horrible. Botched my whole case . I can tell from the beginning that I had made a mistake going with this firm.. Sometimes you can read into things . They must get paid by workers comp either way. And was probably just running my case and not being honest with me to get a small pay out.from the state .
Poor communication and does not fight for you .does not communicate before hearing nor show support for outcome or a resolution. Does not advise me if I can do anything to help get information needed to win case.

Hired Law Firm
If you’re reading all those reviews calling this firm “Knowledgeable,” “Compassionate,” “Determined,” “Trustworthy,” or “Professional,” don’t be fooled. After nearly 9 years with Pasternack Tilker, I can confidently say most of those reviews are either paid, staged, or completely misleading. My experience was often a nightmare. The lawyers are mostly rude, dishonest, and constantly switch without notice. They failed to submit critical medical documents, ignored urgent matters, and during hearings, they often stayed silent and seemed more aligned with the defense side. Their paralegals are no better either. I had to do most of the legwork. They often act in their best interest, trying to close cases quickly rather than fighting for what’s best for the injured worker in the long run. This firm is unprofessional, unkind, and deeply corrupt. I’m finally firing them and plan to report them further. Please don’t trust this firm, believe me, go elsewhere, or even represent yourself.
There is a lack of communication from my assigned representative. I tried many times to reach out with questions and concerns related to my health case, I have not received any response. That had a direct negative impact on my well-being, as my condition is worsening due to the absence of proper guidance and support. I have requested a change of representative due to this ongoing issue, but unfortunately, that request has also gone unanswered.
I’ve literally only retained this firm for a short time and the staff handling my case is different every time so much so I’m confused on who to contact or who is actually representing me. My emails and calls fall on deaf ears but they will contact you at the last minute when you can’t change your circumstances and still have the nerve to be rude and condescending. I have 0 confidence that my case will be won through now due to them complicating seemingly simple details. Being injured and having to go through this process is a nightmare itself, I can’t believe I hired more stress on my plate.
Too long to type. Verbally abusive attorneys (paralegal staff great though). Legitimately the WORST imaginable attorneys to deal with people with disabilities. The definition of being in the wrong field.

Hired Law Firm
My lawyer seems to be working for the other side not me. They pressure you to just except Settlement. Like you have no case. There no such thing as to think it over. An call me back. I felt no concern was shown for my case. Empathy what's that to this law firm.

Reviews
These client and peer reviews are from the Martindale-Avvo Legal Network.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.
Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
Ratings and reviews are feedback from people who have either consulted an attorney about an issue (but may not have hired the attorney) or people who hired an attorney as a current or former client and provided their feedback to our sister site, Avvo.com.
