About Joseph M. Kallabat

Mr. Kallabat received his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law in 1995. Mr. Kallabat limits his practice exclusively to Immigration and Nationality Law. Mr. Kallabat is an active member of the Michigan Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Kallabat has successfully represented thousands of foreign nationals in non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters.

I have worked with Joseph Kallabat & Associates for my H1 as well as Green Card applications. They have a very good team that's both responsive and responsible - important traits when dealing with something as critical as immigration. Immigration outcomes affect people's lives - which at times is easy to forget, when dealing with case/application numbers. I have worked very closely with Ms. Scarlett Akkam from their offices for my Green Card application. Scarlett has been nothing short of spectacular. It's not easy dealing with anxious immigration applicants with thousand "what if" questions & scenarios. Scarlett was always very patient and responsive to all our queries and clearly went above and beyond her professional obligations.
