My case was very difficult as my service time was 60 years ago during the Vietnam War. I honestly didnt believe I was eligible for disability benefits , but was encouraged by my assigned attorney, Sarah Hardy. Initial claims were denied, but Sarah kept persuing in high level review. After over a year of submissions, success was finally achieved 2 days ago. I was awarded 80% disability. It was an unbelieveable moment. The insurance company tried to take advantage of the fact that I was being very reasonable and also hadn't been through this before, but they went too far with it when they offered such a low amount and I'm so glad that I called Berry Law! Rachel read my case and immediately called me as her child had experienced some of the same things my child experienced. She had such compassion for the situation and took it very seriously when settling with the insurance company. She was an amazing advocate for my son and kept me in the loop with every step.
