About Jayson A. Chizick

Jayson graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 2000. He has practiced in the area of workers' compensation for the majority of his career, and he focuses his practice on helping injured workers through the workers' compensation system.

Jayson is a member of both the Michigan and Florida State Bar Associations.

Jayson was honored to be elected Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan Workers' Compensation Law Section for the 2021-2022 term. As the leader of the Section, Jayson has been hard at work engaging with the Workers' Compensation Agency Director, Board of Magistrates and attorneys representing both injured workers and employers toward fostering a more open and efficient workers' compensation system in Michigan.

Jayson joined Jay Trucks & Associates in January 2013.

He is an avid hockey fan and enjoys spending time with his family.

Working with Jason is a great experience. I work third shift and he was able to work around my schedule and still communicate with me and make sure everything was taken care of. he was very easy to reach along with everyone in his office he made this process is least stressful as possible.

Jayson was the absolute best working with. From the beginning of my case he was very upfront and direct with what he required from me in order for us to be successful. Throughout the years Jayson and his team kept in contact with me, checking on me making sure I was ok mentally while also giving me updates on my case. I can’t express how much Jayson did for me during my dark times thinking that I wouldn’t win my case, and he’d reassure me things would work out. Well today I received A message from Jason stating the case is settled. If you need an attorney who goes above and beyond Jayson in the man for the job.

Jayson cares about his clients! He will work hard on your case. He spent a lot of time on my very complicated case and continuously reached out to ensure I was comfortable with the process. The original offer from insurance was not what I wanted. He ended up recouping double what was offered.
