Lighthouse Legal Services, PLLC is a law firm established in 2015 with an office in Abilene, TX. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing family law, adoption, alimony and 23 other areas of law.
Working with this lawyer was a great experience after I interviewed many. I needed someone who was easy to work with given my busy work schedule. Barrett made the process extremely easy by being flexible with coordinating meeting times. I was also able to communicate via text and email. Barrett built trust with me and I valued the advice given which solved the case. Overall I was very happy with the hiring and would gladly hire Barrett again.

I have worked with Carl in a court setting and witness his desire to help others achieve the best outcome. He was hired for my nieces divorce and did well.
Started out the divorce process with a hopeful outlook for a mom and 2 teenagers. Just got worse and seems no recourse to change anything for the better. Anything that was decreed and didn't happen, would just cost more in court again to enforce it. I kept feeling that my lawyer was just agreeing with the ex on matters, whether it was fair to me or not.
I do not recommend Lighthouse Legal, especially attorney Taylor Hauser. My case was switched to her without notice after I initially started with a different attorney, which felt unprofessional. Communication and preparation were poor, and I felt that my concerns and evidence were ignored. After the case ended, I received documents with repeated errors and even a phishing email that appeared to come from the firm’s address. When I asked about it, I was told they’d been hacked, but I was never notified or informed about what information might have been compromised. Overall, being represented by this firm was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences of my life, a serious waste of time, money, and trust. If you’re considering them, look elsewhere.
