I was pulled over and given a speeding ticket of 75 in a 55 in January of this year. Fearing a large fine and points on my license, I decided to hire a professional to represent me. I had read many positive reviews of James Riotto and am very happy to have worked with him and his staff. Everyone was very quick to get me any information I asked for and they kept me up to date of the rescheduled hearings. When the hearing finally took place, I am thrilled to report that the ticket was dismissed!!

In May 2017 I got a ticket in New York State for going slower than a speed limit on a freeway. As I work/live in San Diego, CA, I had to hire a lawyer to defend my case at the court. Although it took some time, the service I received from staff members at James L. Riotto Law Office was superb. Whenever I got anxious, I would email them and they would update me on how the case was going. At the end of it all, I received a phone call/email saying that my ticket was dismissed!

My ticket was reduced from passing a stop sign to improper door opening. It went from a 3-point ticket that would appear on my NYS abstract to being a simple (but pricey) violation. I found Riotto's rate to be reasonable, considering the implications of getting points on my license vs. paying a few hundred dollars. His office is also responsive to emails, and he is accessible, making communication with him easy. Overall, I would recommend him, but I would also recommend myself to be more careful

Mr Riotto's office was very prompt and professional and kept me up to date with my case. He was able to get the points and fines significantly reduced for my traffic ticket. Compared to other offices in the area, the staff is very friendly and accessible. The price was also very competitive compared to others in the upstate area. I would absolutely recommend Riotto's law firm.
