James R. Barnes worked for a large firm for much of his career and has learned that bigger is not always better. Our firm doesn't waste effort on overstated office buildings and expensive advertising that can result in an atmosphere where attorney’s take on too many cases to pay for an inflated overhead. Instead, we prefer to focus our time, resources and finances on our clients and their needs. At the law firm of James R. Barnes, you will be treated as an individual, not just another case.

Our mission is to provide personalized service, excellent legal representation and, most important, positive results.

Mr. Barnes dedicates his practice to cases involving criminal defense and personal injury. He provides legal representation for Federal and State courts in the counties of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton.

Hired Attorney James R. Barnes

He came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. He was had to go up against one of toughest judges in the county. And was able to get all of my charges dropped. He was patient and affordable. I feel he's an 'everyman,' lawyer. I will recommend him over and over . And if I should ever get into trouble again, he will be the one I call upon. Thank you Attorney Barnes and associates.

Mr. Barnes could not even call me back after a no-show for a phone consult, called him back 3 different times with no return call. STAY AWAY FROM JAMES BARNES!
