They were very efficient and were a great help in obtaining the ALTCS approval we needed.
Mr. Hodges was professionally irresponsible in handling my mother's Estate. Mr. Hodges misrepresented and overstated his capabilities and experience during my initial attorney interviews. I was looking for an attorney who was equipped and experienced to handle a contentious estate involving stolen assets that may include litigation. He was not capable or prepared. Mr. Hodges was incredibly sloppy. All of his draft filings were riddled with errors (incorrect grammar, misspellings, improper syntax). I spent many hours editing his drafts and sending them back. Mr. Hodges improperly deposed the other side. Mr. Hodges did not administer the oath at the beginning of what was supposed to be a proper deposition of the opposing party. I regret choosing JacksonWhite and Mr. Hodges. Working with Mr. Hodges was frustrating and problematic. My family bears additional emotional scars as a result.
Be very careful. After spending over a year and $50,000 preparing for trial, my attorney dropped me just six days before trial. This happened immediately after I exposed alleged abuse involving the Mormon Stake President Jeremy Geigle replaced and his brother-in-law, Kevan Gurr. The timing speaks for itself. When influence and relationships come into play, your case may not be what matters most. No client should ever be left defenseless at the most critical moment.
We hired this firm to help my husband and I in court, nothing really became of it. Saw my attorney 1 time second time it was via teller. In court. Paid eight thousand dollars for this firm to help us.Nothing became of it, not recommended.
I'm not working on an appeal; but I saw an email sent to 12 people in your firm which casts me in a negative light. It's not an appeal; but I was successfully represented by Jackson White once upon a time in an appeal. Ashley was appointed by the Court (& she not happy about me not plea bargaining after the appeal prevailed). She obviously didn't write the appellate brief; but whoever did, did an excellent job. The State dropped the case. There is a new case; and it is for that that I am seeking to retain counsel since I live out of State. So, again, it's not an appeal; but I also saw the defamatory email that went out to 12 people. I remember when the EEOC contacted me regarding one of the Mormon lawyers at Jackson White who was preying on and sexually harassing non-Mormon female employees. I declined to testify against the man (who told me I would never work again if I reported him). Still, we all know who he is; and what was covered up. There was a good working relationshi
Absolutely horrible experience. I hired John Skiba at Jackson White to help me declare bankruptcy on some consumer/credit card debt. There was no communication Skiba never returned my phone call, never responded to my emails. I almost lost my house and my car in the process because he failed to file the proper paperwork. I never felt like he cared at all about my case or my situation. The worst part of my bankruptcy was having to work with Jackson white and John Skiba!
