Kirk T. Bauer began the practice of law in DeLand, Florida, in 1985. He established the law firm of Bauer and Associates in 1992, representing local individuals and businesses. His core beliefs have always been that each client deserves to have an attorney who will give personal attention to the client's cases and will be well prepared. Bauer and Associates is committed to such beliefs and further has a philosophy of providing high quality legal services to its clients on a timely basis and at a reasonable cost. We hired Kirk Bauer & Associates to handle a probate and trust administration matter, and I’m very happy we did. From the outset, Bauer & Associates inspired confidence, letting us know what to expect at every stage and what we needed to do to move the process forward. Even though we were working from out of state, we were able to communicate everything readily by phone, email, and US mail. The team was very responsive to our questions, managing to be both highly professional and compassionate at the same time. Our legal situation proceeded smoothly and well within the expected timeframe and budget. I highly recommend Bauer & Associates.

Since my sister and I both live far away from Florida, we needed someone reliable to help with our father's estate. Fortunately, a friend of our father referred us to Mr. Bauer. His paralegal, Jaclyn, went above and beyond to help us. She was reassuring, answered our questions quickly, and whenever anything came up she just took care of it. My sister and I greatly appreciate the help we got from the staff at Bauer & Associates, and highly recommend them.

When my father passed suddenly being 1500 miles away was so scary not knowing how to even start dealing with the process of probate. Mr Bauer's office was suggested to us by a family friend. Just the initial contact with Jaclyn made me feel so at ease and I knew that everything was going to be ok. Very professional and compassionate. They got our probate matters done in such a timely manner and made everything so easy for us I can't thank them enough!! Would highly recommend to anyone needing help dealing with a loved ones estate.

My father recently passed away leaving me with the responsibility to manage his trust. Upon trying to sell his home, we realized there would also be need for probate. I am not familiar with these things and turned to a lawyer in my local area, in the same state and within a couple of hours from the county in which my father resided. The lawyer indicated the trust was a mess and that she would not even take the case. I was disheartened and dismayed not knowing where to turn. Then I found a lawyer in adjoining county, Bauer & Associates. Jaclyn, a paralegal at this office, not only took the case, but took away my dread and fear of the unknown. She handled everything with ease, kindness and compassion. Her professionalism and can-do attitude was reassuring. Jaclyn is the BEST!! The law firm got the job done in a very short time, with no issues and took a huge burden off of me. I can’t say enough nice things about Kirk and his team. Everyone we worked with – Kirk, Jaclyn, Natalie and Tom – was efficient, knowledgeable, always responsive and a real pleasure to work with. I first met the team at a difficult time when my stepmother was quite ill. My stepmom (and my late father) had a long-standing relationship with Kirk. Several years ago, her estate plan was reviewed and updated, including wills & trusts as well as all needed medical and financial authorizations. It was the completeness of that documentation that allowed my sister and me to step in and assist with paying bills and coordinating medical issues. After her death, Kirk and Jaclyn walked me through my responsibilities as administrator & trustee and then handled everything related to the estate. Jaclyn kept me informed at each phase and I honestly don’t know how I would have done everything without them. They have my gratitude and I recommend them without hesitation.
