Hired Law Firm
If you're looking for a top-tier VA disability law firm, Berry Law absolutely stands out. From the first consultation, their team demonstrates deep knowledge of VA disability law and, more importantly, genuine care for veterans. They don’t treat you like just another case number — they take the time to understand your service history, medical conditions, and how your disability impacts your daily life. What truly strengthens the firm is the teamwork behind the scenes and on the front lines. Sean Shepherd brings sharp legal insight and strong advocacy, building well-developed, evidence-based arguments for veterans seeking the benefits they’ve earned. Supporting him is Morgan Hansen, his assistant, who helps keep communication organized, timely, and clear throughout the process. On the client experience side, Ken Bankston plays a key role in ensuring veterans feel heard, supported, and informed every step of the way. Berry Law’s strategic approach sets them apart. VA claims can be frustr
Working with Natalie Gipson and other staff members at the Berry Law firm has been an outstanding experience. She maintained regular communication with me at every step of the way. In addition, Natalie took time to address my questions and explained the VA process in a way that made sense. I highly recommend her to all veterans.
Working with Mr. Thomas was the best decision I made for my health and my future. He didn't just treat me like another case number; they actually listened to my story and understood the nuances of secondary conditions that the VA kept ignoring. The communication was top-tier. I never felt left in the dark, and they handled all the heavy lifting with the BVA. All I had to do is attend a couple of meetings with his group and they did everything else. Thanks to their expertise, I finally received the 100% P&T rating I deserved. If you're a veteran struggling with the system, do yourself a favor and call Mr. Thomas at Berry Law Firm.
I initially chose Berry Law to help with my disability claims because of all the positive reviews I saw online. I was skeptical at first, but Claire Kreiger and her team proved me wrong. The process was easy, Ms. Kreiger was supportive and kept us informed, and the outcome was better than my wife and I could have hoped after years of trying to navigate the VA system on our own. To others, I would say, don’t give up--give Berry Law a chance. We did, and it changed our lives.
I strongly recommend Berry Law for help with any veteran trying to work with the VA on disability claims. They WILL help you! They will ensure that you get all benefits you deserve. Claire Kreiger and her team will ensure you are satisfied.
I was recommended to Berry Law by a fellow veteran that used their service and was very happy. I contacted Berry Law and was treated with respect and concern. At this point I was receiving nothing from the VA and the VA stated they could not find my claim. I had to start the process all over again and this has been going on for years. My first claim I received a rating of 10%. I was so disappointed. A highly motivated and skilled attorney for Berry Law, Montana Crow started to represent me. She is fantastic, she has handled everything and after many claims and appeals in the last several years I went from 10% rating to 80% with a backpay award and 100% benefit. Without Montana Crow’s expertise and tireless dedication and work this would never have been possible. I would highly recommend Berry Law to any veteran and thank you Montana you changed my life.
Jennifer Collier, an attorney with Berry Law out of Nebraska, worked tirelessly to help me with my VA disability claim. I had been trying to navigate the complexities of the VA's disability claims process myself for over 2 years with no success. As soon as Jennifer was assigned to my case, she immediately reviewed my entire file that encompassed 35 years, devised a winning strategy, patiently explained her rationale to me, and then got to work writing the first supplemental claim. She submitted 3 separate supplemental claims on my behalf and was successful on the third attempt. I currently have 4 children in college and Jennifer's hard work, skill, legal knowledge and dedication is a game changer for them and myself. I was fortunate to have Jennifer assigned to my case and would recommend her and the Berry Law Firm to anyone that needs assistance in these matters.
Wow the process was fast, and they got me a very good rating from the VA. These guys really know how to work quick. A special thanks to Gabe for handling my claim and making it quick and easy. I was informed during the process so there were no surprises, I’ve never had a process go so smooth as this one. I highly recommend this firm for veterans looking for the disability rating they deserve!
Deb Hansel demonstrated professionalism, strong communication, and a deep understanding of the VA disability claims process. She ensured I was informed at every stage and handled my case with care and attention to detail. I highly recommend Deb Hansel and Berry Law to any Veteran seeking knowledgeable and effective representation in disability compensation matters.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
