I was denied my claim by the Veterans Administration. I called other law firms, and they were unwilling to take on my case. I found Berry Law on an internet search, and I was impressed with their history. I was relieved when they took my case. Sean Shephard helped me. He pursued my case persistently over several years until it was finally concluded. He never gave up on me. My life has been changed in three positive ways. First, my income has increased, which helps a lot. Second, there are other benefits such as health care at the VA, which is excellent. The VA Claims process can be a daunting task for anyone; but, not if you have the help of an experienced navigator like Berry Law, to guide you. As a Retired Colonel of Marines, I was having the same issue many other Veterans experience. So, I reached out to David Ossian, a Desert Storm Era Marine Corporal, and now Veteran's Advocate at Berry Law, for help. He and his team, to include Tuesday Metcalf-Hofts, and McKenzie Heiden, took over my case, reaching out to the VA on my behalf, arranging appointments, and following up with the myriad of paperwork, to ensure my interests were represented the entire way. They helped file my PACT paperwork and get me from an 80% to 100% rating in about 24 months from start to finish. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
