I was denied my claim by the Veterans Administration. I called other law firms, and they were unwilling to take on my case. I found Berry Law on an internet search, and I was impressed with their history. I was relieved when they took my case. Sean Shephard helped me. He pursued my case persistently over several years until it was finally concluded. He never gave up on me. My life has been changed in three positive ways. First, my income has increased, which helps a lot. Second, there are other benefits such as health care at the VA, which is excellent. Finally and most importantly, getting the VA to admit to my disability and give me the rating according to the VA’s own rules. Thank you, Berry Law and Sean Shephard, for all your hard work. I contacted Berry Law after my VA claim was denied even with sufficient evidence and documentation. I was referred to David Hoeser by a friend. David was phenomenal to work with and got me approved. During the whole process someone with Berry Law was always in contact with me and assured I never had any questions. Phenomenal service with 100% results.
After putting it off for various reasons since retiring in 2009, and with much encouragement from some other vets I work with, along with a very high recommendation to go with PTSDLawyers.com, I took action to have my rating reevaluated. David & team made the whole process so less stressful than it appeared to be, always available to answer my million questions and concerns, always providing superior guidance and assistance, and always doing it with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I started with a 50% rating and I am now 100% P&T! I am so thankful for all David and team did to help accomplish this, my only regret is I waited 16 years to do this. Don't wait any longer, get the benefits and compensation you deserve, you earned it, and David will ensure you get it!
Great office Berry Law Firm Super service Helping veterans with disabilities Veteran lawyers helping veterans Very professional High recommend Get the ratings you deserve There not if your not happy A++++++

I heard about this law firm from a friend decided to go with him, and within a few months they had my rating upgraded, and they didn’t close my case. They are continuously attempting to give me a higher disability rating, and the fight continues

Berry Law has been an absolute game changer for me. When I first reached out, I was sitting at a 0% disability rating and felt completely stuck and unheard. Their team took the time to understand my situation, guide me through the process, and fight on my behalf every step of the way. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, I was able to secure a 70% disability rating. I want to give a special thank-you to Lou Traore, Benson Reese, and Rob Hinton. Each of them communicated with me directly, kept me updated, and made sure I always understood the next steps. Their professionalism, patience, and commitment truly stood out. I’m extremely grateful for everything Berry Law has done for me. I highly recommend them to any Veteran who needs help navigating the VA claims process — they really do make all the difference.
I wanted to share how much I appreciated working with Corrina and the team on my VA claim. They kept the process moving, stayed on top of every appeal, and really helped keep the stress off me over the last few years. I always felt supported and informed.

The VA Claims process can be a daunting task for anyone; but, not if you have the help of an experienced navigator like Berry Law, to guide you. As a Retired Colonel of Marines, I was having the same issue many other Veterans experience. So, I reached out to David Ossian, a Desert Storm Era Marine Corporal, and now Veteran's Advocate at Berry Law, for help. He and his team, to include Tuesday Metcalf-Hofts, and McKenzie Heiden, took over my case, reaching out to the VA on my behalf, arranging appointments, and following up with the myriad of paperwork, to ensure my interests were represented the entire way. They helped file my PACT paperwork and get me from an 80% to 100% rating in about 24 months from start to finish. Because of this, I can wholeheartedly recommend David and his Team at Berry Law to any Veteran, whether they served for 3 or 30 years. They genuinely care about you, and won't stop until they help you recieve the benefits you earned by serving our Nation.
David Ossian and his Team treated me like one of their own right from the start. They answered all of my questions and helped walk me through the process. Highly recommended to anyone looking for VA benefits help. -NB
Reviews
These client and peer reviews are from the Martindale-Avvo Legal Network.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
