Hired Law Firm
Words cannot describe how Jay Abt saved my life. He played their game and he caught them in their lies. Myself and my son owe Jay Abt's law firm a great debt, and guys don't forget Allison Goldberg. .she is so smart and it meant alot for her to hold my hand in court and say "Bryan we got this" ..thank you Alli ..you and Jay are a perfect team.
I hired Mr. Abt after I was arrested in a sting. The cops really entrapped me into meeting up with an underage girl, and the prosecutors and police wanted me to go to prison. I had a lot of faith in Mr. Abt, and he saved me from 10 or more years in prison. My family spent a lot of money hiring him, but it was worth every dollar because I am free today due to his hard work and fantastic legal skills. He knew the judge, the prosecutor, and worked the system to save me. Thank you!!!
Abt and his team did a fantastic job, andsaved my life. I could've gone to prison, and that is exactly what the DA asked the judge to do, send me away to prison, for years. But Jay Abt stopped that from happening. He convinced everyone I was a good person, who just made a bad mistake. I had drugs, guns, and got in a high speed chase with the cops. Abt showed them good side, and even kept all that stuff off my record. Thank you, forever.
Jay Abt saved my life. I was accused of a horrible sex crime on a minor that I did not commit, but the police were convinced because my friends son lied about me when I was baby sitting for him. Although my family had to spend a lot of money, Mr. Abt had private investigators who uncovered the truth, and the charges were eventually dismissed. We can’t thank him enough, and I will forever be grateful for his dedication to my cause.
I hired Abt because my crazy ex girl (who falsely claims I am her baby's daddy) accused me of beating her up, body slamming her on the head, giving her a concussion, and ripping her hair out. Abt took the case in front of a jury and did all that amazing lawyer stuff, and poof . . .NOT GUILTY! I walked free. Mic drop.

Hired Law Firm
I was in Atlanta for the Super Bowl, got way too drunk and got in a fight with my wife. I broke her jaw (believe me, she deserved it). Abt saved me from prison, and I've been there before and don't want to go back. He is the best lawyer on earth.

Hired Law Firm
I was a passenger in a girlfriend's car and the cops found a kilo of meth. Mr. Abt got the whole case dismissed after a big hearing, and saved me from a lot of years in jail. He is great!!!
Jay Abt is a horrible attorney. He took $25,000 from us and promised to work 50/50 with our other attorney and did NOTHING.Hired him in 3/20 and had only went to see my son twice, each time was less than 10 min. After years of asking him to go see my son to discuss his case/discovery/strategies,Jay finally arrived and Jay revealed he hadn’t looked at the discovery in over a year. When I specifically asked that he go see him to go over his case/discovery.We found that disappointing that he finally went to go see him,but he was unfamiliar with the details of his case.Everytime I called him to find out about the case he was very rude and short.Jay never filed any motions or attended any court dates. He finally arrived at the plea/sentencing hearing that my sons other attorney set up.If it wasn't for our other attorney my son would have been not been represented.Myson expressed his concerns to Jay of his lack of work on his case and Jay told him "I'm not your babysitter" How unprofessional.smh
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
