Jay has favor in the courts of Miami County. He is the best in this county. He told me what was going to happen and everything went as planned. He is trusting and I would use him every time for criminal, family, divorce and so on. He keeps a professional relationship without being judgmental and was willing to help. Although he can be hard to get in touch with not by his fault I don’t believe. I feel he is super busy and his paralegals are unorganized and communicate late. Other than that price is reasonable. He’s help me on a few cases. But I’ve also had a case where someone else used him as a lawyer against with a custody battle and I would not recommend being on the opposing side of Jay.

I was issued a speeding ticket for 74 in a 65 mph zone on I-75 in Troy , OH . I'm pleased to say that my ticket was reduced to a no point non-moving violation and my fine was $84 , thank you.

Wasn't happy that Pratt charged me an additional 1000. to go to trial. The case was dismissed before trial, and he kept the money.

I've used this law firm twice. I've had a good experience, and I've had a bad experience. In my opinion they lack in communication and ethics. I think it all depends of who is working your case. Unfortunately, who you hire as your attorney may not be the one who ends up representing you. I used to think highly of the firm but after my last experience I will not be a returning client.

Hired Attorney Jay Lopez

I tried to have adoption papers typed up to sign. He didn't fill out the paperwork at all, so there was nothing to sign. He did not put the correct information in the court papers relating to child support.

My attorney-client experience wasn't so good to say the least. She didn't communicate well. She wasn't on top of things. While drafting my case, she kept making mistakes, and it almost seemed like it was on purpose. Because I was VERY clear about the situation. So then she would charge to edit her draft per client's request. It took a couple months before she finally got the draft correct. After working with her for about four months I started questioning her work ethics. So, I decided to close my case. After closing my case I went to the court to get answers... Long story short I'm very glad I closed my case and followed my gut... She did me a disservice.

Hired Attorney Jay Lopez

Let’s just say the guy isn’t a quality lawyer. Once he gets his money it’s a wrap. He leaves key descriptions out of writing so if you want to fight for something that you’re entitled to you’ll have to retain him again in order to get anything taken care of which should have been taken care of the first time. Wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.
