Ruth Lavada Vernier is a leader in the community and a member of the State Bar of Texas; the State Bar of Michigan; the State Bar of Ohio; the College of the State Bar of Texas; the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; Texas Lawyers for Children; and is a charter member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas. She has taught continuing legal education for the State Bar of Texas and is a certified mediator and a negotiator.

Hired Attorney Ruth Lavada Vernier

I just recently finalized a divorce with an adversarial, abusive spouse. Ruth worked hard to make sure I was protected in every way, both financially and legally. She took the time to explain the process and contacted me on weekends and after hours with pertinent information regarding my case. Her office staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Ruth is a strong advocate for women, and works hard to protect their interests and the interests of their children.

Ruth and her office staff are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Vernier & Associates! They were always there to answer any questions I had. Going through a divorce was the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. Ruth and her staff were so compassionate and caring. They made the process so much less stressful. I had a very complex case and desperately needed to receive full custody of my son. They achieved the results I needed for the safety and well being of my son. Skip fought hard for me, and would not settle for less than what was right. He left no stone unturned and was available morning noon and night. I highly recommend this firm.

I can not recommend Ruth Vernier and her legal team highly enough! I am officially divorced as of today. She fought for me against a very bitter ex husband who pulled out all of the stops to make sure I got nothing. In the end I not only received my fair share, but more than enough to make sure after 22 years of being an at home mom I am secure.
