Susan and her staff were incredibly helpful during a confusing Readoption and filing of our sons Certificate of Citizenship. As parents we were quite surprised that we needed to go through this process but were so thankful that Susan walked us through every step. This process can be overwhelming and we were in very good hands. I would recommend Susan Stockham and her team without hesitation!

Susan & Janet were loving, supportive & determined allies in our adoption process, and my wife & I loved working with & meeting them. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable & taken care of every step of the way, but especially during the time we first met our baby boy, and the weeks that followed. Without them we would have been lost!

Hired Attorney Ms. Susan L. Stockham

Susan is impossible to get hold of. Our adoption failed largely in part because of her lack of communication. The hospital never received paperwork from her, she then sent info to the incorrect department. We cannot get hold of her for any type of invoice or receipt. She does not respond to emails, calls, or text messages.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
