I was very pleased to have Jane Tomich on my side. She is very experienced and didn't back down , I definitely recommend Jane, and would choose her again.

At first Deborah seemed on top of things, but it was the law of deminishing returns, as soon as she got money she was much less responsive often canceling scheduled phone conferences and then acting as if no one should care. Unfortunately Saint Charles County Courts have set the bar very low with accountability. Billing was very high and even for things like "research", it really was a lot of money wasted for very little help.

I used Tomich for a divorce, she did absolutely nothing for me, I could have gotten the same thing or more representing myself and the minute we walked out of court she wanted the rest of her money in full or you would be paying market interest on the balance. I hope never to have to use an attorney again.

I had the pleasure of using both Jane and Debbie and was ignored by both in emails. Debbie cancelled all meetings. I lost with Debbie and switched to another law firm on my case with Jane and it is night and day! My new lawyer is being proactive instead of ignoring my case

Do not use this firm! Jane will tell you what you want to hear up front, to get your retainer, and then disappear. You will be left begging for information and answers, she will cancel any phone calls or meetings you request, not communicate, and then blame you when things aren't accomplished. You will be completely unprepared for trial - even if you ask to have preparation beforehand. She will not discuss details of what you're looking for in a parenting plan or child support order - leaving you with a shell of a document. She will remove important details from your original orders, because of her lack of communication and not engaging with you as a client. She will file incomplete and false documents with the court for trial exhibits, while expecting you to testify to their validity under oath. She will charge you for work never done, or never completed. Run. Do not hire her.

If I could give them "zero" stars - I would. They don't communicate, they are unresponsive, they don't get things on record when they need to - they always have excuses, and then it is your fault as the client for being annoyed and frustrated. But, they sure do expect you to be responsive about paying the bills! Don't waste your money, or your energy!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst attorney I have ever dealt with. She will not respond to emails at all, will not return phone calls, calls everything a process! Over 1 year of litigation and we have not accomplished a thing! Run away, stay far away unless you want to accomplish nothing...drag the "process" out so she can continue to receive money.

Jane and her office never returned my phone calls or emails. I never had any idea what was going on in my case. I wouldn't recommend her law firm to anyone.
