Ronald W. Chapman Sr. is a health care defense attorney with 38 years of legal experience and 36 years representing health professionals in Florida and Michigan. He founded Chapman Law Group in Troy, Michigan, and focuses on defending clinicians, providers, facilities, correctional health contractors and insurers in matters including medical malpractice, professional licensing, correctional health law, health care fraud and false claims, Qui Tam, peer review, credentialing, administrative law and health-care-related criminal defense. He also advises on compliance—Anti‑Kickback and Stark, DEA, Medicare and Medicaid claims, compliance program formation and Medicare audits. Ronald holds a JD from Wayne State University and an LL.M. in Health Care Law from Loyola University Chicago. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
