John is a very professional lawyer, with a cut throat additude. In addition, hes a very understanding person, who strives to represent the innocent. John is my personal and business lawyer and has done me good.
Communicative, responsive and realistic in my family law case. Always had my Children’s interest at the forefront and worked to establish a plan that would aid me in providing those needs for them. Worth it.
John showed great compassion and understanding w my situation. His guidance through the 10 month long legal process was invaluable. John's suggestions helped the court look favorably on my DWI and I got the best sentencing possible under the circumstances. John knew my end goals and worked to achieve those from delaying resolution to sentencing goals. All of which I am extremely satisfied with. I'd highly recommend John. The only negative I'd share (and there's got to be negatives for an honest review) is that sometimes the communication was unclear, confusing or not timely. But nothing of major concern. Again, highly recommended. And I've had my share of attorney experiences in my life. I wouldn't hesitate again to hire Mr Holmes.
I did not get the chance to work with this lawyer. After weeks of reaching out to their office via phone, email, and their website, I talked to one person. I sent them the information they requested, then did not hear back.
Working with this lawyer was a great experience with the first case we worked together on. Positive results and fantastic communication. When we had the follow up case to the originally, things turned very bad. I have not received communication about my case in months and I paid thousands of dollars one year and 10 months ago. As a law firm you would expect to have frequent communication with clients regarding the status of the case. I have not received a single email or communication at all since April 2024. Therefore, after receiving my money, inconsistent communication
Initially, John was excellent when recruiting me as a client. Once he got his fee, I had to call him and email him constantly. He has several phone numbers. When you call most of the numbers, the mail box is full and you cannot leave a message. He seems to always have different "assistants" and if you go to the office, most of the time it is closed! Run away from this "legal" professional. Any client should NOT have to chase after their lawyer after paying retainer fee to have their legal matters helped with.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.

Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
