Hired Law Firm
Since I live in another state our communication was through e-mail and phone calls. They did not hesitate to write or call as soon as they needed anything and were on the ball with everything. The people I spoke with and wrote to were very friendly with me and well spoken.
Very Understanding of our needs and I feel like they are totally on my side.

Hired Law Firm
This is a tuff one for me. Overall my experience has been good, however I feel like when it comes to the fees that are paid to them is a different story when it comes to a group settlement. Most info posted has been between 40 and 42 % seems a bit excessive when dealing with veterans.... On that same note, their fees are less then alot of other firms! Overall I'm glad they reached out to me and am happy things are almost over.
I have to say I was well pleased picking this law firm to represent me for the Earplugs lawsuit and happy for the victory. Awko was very good at hosting town halls and updating us with the questions and concerns received from claimants. It started to become a nightmare once it was turned over solely to this law firm though. They stopped updating us of where we were in the process and anytime you reach out they just tell you to be patient with no update to your case. We were given ranks so that you are paid in the order received but they decided to pay others with higher ranks before lower ranks despite court orders. I’ve dealt with other law firms and this by far isn’t a firm I can recommend.. they make you feel as if you need them vs you could have chosen a different firm. I was told I would receive payment in December and still haven’t(03/13/2024) will update when my process is over of the full outcome.. I hope to give a more satisfying update when this is finished..
They are responsive and quick to address your questions but they are bad at manging case information flow. I have no idea what is going on and told no or we dont do that on many occasions. Just tired of them representing me.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
