About Scott A. Livingston

Mr. Scott A. Livingston is a member of the Orlando office of CPLS, P.A. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice group. He also works closely with the firm’s Class Action, Criminal Defense, Business Law, and Appellate Groups.

Mr. Livingston has been involved in complex business litigation for over 20 years. Prior to joining CPLS, P.A., he successfully ran his own litigation practice group. His experience includes representing clients in mediations and negotiations in both state and federal courtrooms.

Mr. Livingston handles a broad array of matters from business formation to business dissolution, from contract disputes to discrimination claims, from real estate disputes to real property foreclosures, and from enforcing non-compete agreements to defending against those same agreements.

Mr. Livingston’s experiences in the law have kept him grounded in his original purpose for becoming an attorney: to help smaller businesses and individuals connected to them prosper in the face of legal adversity.

Mr. Livingston graduated Cum Laude and served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Business Law Journal and as a Vice President of the Moot Court Board.

Last year my business partner recommended that our company, Park Place Resorts, hire Mr. Scott Livingston as our attorney. And, to this day I thank my partner for his suggestion. Over the years, both for personal and business needs, I have been fortunate to have used some outstanding attorneys. But, none ever reached the level of competence and commitment that Scott has. The biggest difference that Scott provides is an uncompromising level of personalized service well beyond his call of duty. The retainer program that Scott offers our company provides substantial monthly savings in communication with Scott, who makes himself available around the clock for matters big and small. Scott also understands that a small business, such as ours, has limited funds, so Scott works very efficiently when preparing legal documents. Scott is a no nonsense guy when it comes to business, yet, Scott has a great sense of humor. This truly wonderful combination is Scott's secret of his success, and ours.

Scott has been my personal and business attorney for more than 10 years. I trust him with any aspect of my life or my family’s life. He provides outstanding courageous service in that he just isn’t a yes-man type. He’s more concerned about clients best interest. Gets up to speed on issues very quickly which adds to his cost effectiveness.

I was in somewhat of an odd scenario whereby the decision was made between my initial attorney and I to part ways, and I was fortunate to have been pointed in the direction of Mr. Scott Livingston from a mutual friend, and after our initial/intro conversation - I recall thinking to myself "I have a shark in my corner now!" Scott was quick to turnaround my case and it almost felt like I went from defense to offense (which I loved b/c I was the one being sued unfortunately), and he and his assistant did a wonderful job of giving me the sense that things were under control (highly attentive attorney and team, very impressed by this aspect of our relationship) and they took the guess work out of a scenario that I am/was far from experienced in (being in a lawsuit). In the end, and within budget, Scott and his team were able to put my case to bed and achieve a desired outcome. I'm forever grateful to Scott and his team - I can't be more sincere and genuine about this. A++

We hired Scott to represent us in what we thought would be a simple partner dispute. The case became very complex quickly and Scott was able to help us work through the options we had available us and how to achieve resolution on the case. What we liked about Scott was his willingness to explain the law and explain our options towards resolving the case. Ultimately we needed several creative strategies to cross the finish line and Scott was able to help us with this. We would highly recommend Scott if your case involves complex fact patterns that require someone to look at them in a different light.
