Former prosecutor representing individuals and entities facing criminal investigation and prosecution.
After being con by attorney Michael Krauts. (He took $10k from his retainer for writing 2-3 paragraphs to the government and trying to talk me out of canceling his service) I found Mrs Corrigan. She smart, works with honesty and integrity. You never felt like she inflated her work time in order to bill more for her service. I was a nervous wreck but she ease me down and after listening to her advice and doing what was asked I was able to work my way down from the federal guideline. I was facing a max of 5 years in prison then received a guideline range of 10-16 months. At the end of the day I received 5 months home detention, a reduce fine of $55k to $10k and paid restitution even with a stricter judge. I couldn’t ask for much more. She charge hourly rates for her service but at the end of the day she cost about 1/2 or even 1/3 of some attorney’s flat fee model. If you hire her and work hard she’ll help you deliver great results. Thank you Mrs Corrigan.
It was an amazing attorney very knowledgeable in the courtroom and really cared about my case. Everything everything went smoothly. You couldn't have a better person on your team.
Kate Corrigan is hands down one of the best criminal defense attorneys in the country, period! Kate fought hard for me, and did everything in her power to minimize the amount of time I will be away from my family. Kate commands respect in the courtroom from prosecutors, judges, victims, and onlookers. You can instantly tell the moment she steps in that she means business. She has ammassed over THIRTY YEARS of experience and defended clients in over 200 criminal trials! She is a ROCKSTAR!
After consulting with a PhD phycologist this is my honest appraisal from first hand experience. Note: every contract has an implied covenant of good faith and fair dealings. Ed is well dressed, intelligent and a good listener. I intended to hire him for only 2 reasons: to review the discovery and to help me reach my former friends on the other side because I believed I could reach an ambilocal solution pretrial. He said all the right things. However, he took my money, did what he wanted, then power-played me a year later, with out reviewing the discovery thoroughly with me nor helping me reach my former friends (Any attorney could have advised if this was a good idea with less than 30seconds of inquiry and before taking my money. Ed assured me he would do both). This is a major character deficit. Full stop. He was minimalistic in communication with me. Many of my emails were ignored. I was out of money or I would have left. Is this Good faith practices? Is this Fair dealings? FULL STOP
