Ms. Malek was assigned to my child's case by the court for child custody. It's been over a year and she has never done a home visitation. I missed one court due to work and she gave full custody to my child's dad. Without my presence she recommended that I only have her every other weekend. She recommended that she lived with him without visiting me at my home. I appealed the case, we went back to trial and she asked for a continuance because she had not investigated the case thoroughly. Hence, she knew that he was abusive towards me in the relationship. When I had concerns or questions, she would state she was not able to assist me because she represented the child. But when the father reached out to her she would advise him. She would not answer my texts for days, weeks and even months. Her behavior is pretty weird, something needs to be done. She can not continue doing this to children, they are the ones suffering. I wonder if she hates kids? DO not hire her!

She is so Novice that she doesn’t even talk to all parties involved in a case. And will make a decision based on what the mother says. Stay away. Very biased GAL.

Represented a very dear child in my life in a protective order case and made a decision on the case without even talking to all parties involved. Very one-sided and clearly does not do a thorough assessment of case. Stay away, only cares about a “win” for her and not the child.

Azadeh Malek was terrible. She was court appointed and was not interested in my side of the story. I feel she already made her decision before she came and spoke with me.
