My lawyer, Stephanie Costello, worked tirelessly on my case, which involved a long battle with the VA. Initially, I left the military with a 90% service-connected disability rating, but it took nearly four years to reach 100%. The VA made numerous errors, including one provider erroneously reducing one of my conditions from 30% to 0% without an examination.
