Mr. Braaten is a fantastic attorney. I really feel like he took a vested interest in my case. He didn’t give me unrealistic expectations but still gave me confidence that he would do everything he could for the best outcome. He listened to my side and was very thorough. His professionalism really shined in the courtroom, he was quick and didn’t miss a beat. I would and have recommended Mr. Braaten to others in need. As a father family court can be stressful but I can’t speak highly enough about Mr. Braaten and the outcome!
I had a very difficult case, and Mr. Braaten exposed to flaws, and brought them to light. I don't know if anyone else would have done this besides him. He's very professional, determined, and will back you 100%.
Jon did a great job for the two cases I had going on back to back! I was lucky that he wanted to keep my case after the way i was at the time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! At times it was hard to get ahold of him but that is one thing I expect with a attorney that is busy like he is!
Mr. Anderson did not do a thing for me but spend my money. I also gave him 3 years of profit loss statements of my business which he lost and they have never been returned to. In short if you want to be over charged and ignored this is the divorce lawyer for you. Ended up firing him and finding new lawyer which I am happy with.

Hired Law Firm
Called them regarding some help I need in a guardianship case and was referred to Molly Burton. Was told that she would call me on the following day (a Friday). Didn't hear back from her so I called again the next Monday and was led to believe she was in and was transferred to her extension. I got her voice mail and left a message for her the next Monday morning. When I didn't hear back from her by the end of day, I found her email address on their website and sent her a quick message as to what the legal matter was about. Now it's Tuesday and no reply from either of my voice mails or from my email. From ANY law firm I would expect at least the PROFESSIONAL COURTESY of a return phone call even if they didn't want to take the case. That's just professional behavior one would expect so ZERO star rating if I could.
I paid a very large retainer fee and was assured that the divorce would go quickly. It has now been 9 months and still nothing has been accomplished. He is never in when I call, never returns my calls, and very rarely responds to my emails. I haven't heard from him for 2 months.
Reviews
These client and peer reviews are from the Martindale-Avvo Legal Network.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
