Were happy to take $400 for an associate consult in a field of family law they don’t even practice. May as well taken a lighter to $400. Cool that this couldn’t be told to us in intake process. F these people and their trash scam of a profession
Very disappointing experience. During a complicated divorce, there was a lack of communication, professionalism, and seriousness. I changed for ather attorneys, but four years later I am still dealing with the consequences of that representation. I would not recommend.
Working with Kevin was the worst experience. I'm going threw a very tight D.V case and a divorce to fallow. Kevin assured me of a air tight case all the way to the court room where he buckled he had no car ready no arguments where made in my defense. He had no strategy the judge ended up sticking up for me. I wrote a very long very clear statement for myself. And was promised by his para legal Kevin would argue case law in court. Not only did he not he hadn't even looked at the evidence. I paid this man 15k for one court date and he sat there and did nothing. My wife took my children to a international airport to stay the night with a man. I told Kevin this before our next court date. Kevin had the audacity to defend my wife's actions to me. He brought nothing to court even after multiple court order violations by my wife Kevin did nothing. He filled nothing he enforced nothing. In the preliminary agreement with my wife Kevin agreed without my consent to paying my wife 3,100 a month
If you’re a mother looking for help in family court, please think twice before hiring Genevieve. I trusted her to protect me and my child, but their negligence and lack of compassion made everything worse. Genevieve was my lawyer she lost the custody of my 3 years old daughter, then put me in a group chat of other moms that Genevieve represented who also lost custody of their children and threatened us that if we were to mutter anything she would sue us! She didn’t communicate, didn’t prepare properly, and ignored key details that any competent attorneys should have caught and overcharged for $500 for 2 sentence emails claiming it was one hour of work! Her actions or lack of action had devastating consequences for my family. It felt like she cared more about getting paid than about doing what was right. No parent should have to experience the heartbreak and stress Genevieve Suzuki caused. I’m sharing this so other mothers don’t have to go through what I did.
This law firm only best interest is money. Not you as a client. Please read this again! They will double bill you, double charge you and change the words on the statements to make it seem as if it's different paperwork they are filing. Also, the attorney will tell you that you can pay 6k and that will cover one court appearance. This is also false. I've already paid this firm over 10k and still paying as I'm still in the process. I suggest finding a lawyer who has a flat rate fee. I have not seen any production with this firm whatsoever. At this point I'm just dumping money for the same paperwork to be filed. Please save yourself the stress and time and find somewhere else! You will barely ever speak with the actual attorney only the paralegals. They seem to know very little about their jobs. If I wasn't so far in I'd represent myself. By the time this is all over I'm sure they will break the bank. Don't walk but run to another firm and do your research!
I had many issues with their attorney which they no longer represent. They gave me less then a week in advance to make me aware they were letting go of their attorney that I had hired and was deeply dissatisfied with. I ultimately decided to not stay with the firm or attorney. In the end the firm itself was no better. When I requested a refund of my remaining balance after deciding I no longer wanted Daniela as my attorney, they sent the refund to an old account I hadn’t used in months. This mistake led to weeks of trying to recover my funds with zero support from the firm. They laughed it off like it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience and ignored my emails when I tried to address my concerns. Go with another firm that actually cares about their clients.
I hired attorney Kevin Rundle for my divorce case after my ex-husband contented our previously uncontested divorce done my mail. After our first me hour consultation, I felt like I was retaining someone that would be on my side. What I got was the exact opposite. He was rude, dismissive, and absent. When I challenged him on the way he was treating me as his client, he just explained that he is a very blunt person. There is a difference between being blunt and speaking with candor, and being downright rude and dismissive. He also was completely absent on my case. He turfed everything to his paralegal and when it came time for hearing in my case, he was wholly unprepared and failed to present the strongest arguments in my favor. It felt like he was actually working for opposing counsel. He was also very soft in fighting back and his handling of the perjury and unethical behaviors from both my ex-husband as well as my attorney. He let them get away with anything and everything
Kevin told me all along "Don't worry about your personal property, We'll get to that later." He then instructed me to sign a settlement and parenting plan that were absurd. As a direct result of Kevin's guidance, I get to see 1 daughter 1 hr a month supervised, and another 4 hrs a month supervised. My new attorney says it is the worst representation she has ever seen. As for my personal property, I did not even get a fork or screwdriver out of my residence after 20 years of marriage. My Ex refuses to give me anything because I signed the settlement giving her everything. DO NOT FOLLOW HIS ADVICE ON ANYTHING. SEEK DIFFERENT COUNSEL. He will tell you to sign things because he doesn't want to deal with them anymore.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
