Marc W. Miller & Associates handled our property sale in Ulster Co. They were professional, courteous, and easy to deal with. Autumn returned our calls & emails promptly. Marc answered all of our questions clearly & promptly. I would gladly use their services again if need be.
They drew up power of attorney papers for us so I could close on our house without my husband physically present. We got them electronically notarized and according to my email records, I sent them to their office on Thur Nov 12. We were set to close on Tues Nov 17, but it wasn't till the morning of closing that they learned that there were issues with the power of attorney documents and we couldn't use them. So the only way we could close was if my husband drove 2+ hours to the closing. What makes me most angry is that Marc wouldn't take responsibility for any of this, saying "we only got the papers on Mon and my assistant was out that day" (um even if that were the case that's no excuse, and anyway I later checked and saw that I'd actually sent them Thurs Nov 12 so there was PLENTY of time ). At another point he made excuses for their mistake by saying "the rules keep changing" Um, that is what we are paying you for! Complete lack of integrity for not owning up to their mistakes
