With over 15 years of focused practice in bankruptcy, debt collection defense, and consumer protection, Daniel Ciment has earned a reputation as a leading consumer advocate throughout the state of Texas. A 2003 graduate of South Texas College of Law, Daniel began his career by founding a high-volume debt collection law firm where he filed thousands of collection lawsuits—experience that gave him deep knowledge of creditor techniques and procedural levers. He later transitioned to the consumer side as a partner at a Chicago consumer bankruptcy firm, representing individuals and families in complex bankruptcy proceedings and student loan matters. That combination of creditor-side and debtor-side experience allows Daniel to anticipate opposing counsel, design effective strategies, and achieve favorable, timely results for clients facing mounting debts. Now established in Katy, Texas as the owner of Ciment Law Firm, PLCC, he dedicates his practice to helping clients take control of their finances, halt abusive collection practices, and rebuild credit. Known for tenacity in and out of the courtroom, Daniel pairs practical legal solutions with compassionate client service to secure lasting financial relief.

Reviews for Daniel
Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. This company failed to show up in court resulting in a judgment against us. When I questioned them about it they referred me to Debbie who told me she would get me answers and now will not return calls or emails! Do not use this place!
I hired the law firm to handle my case, they were quick with getting with me in the beginning and to collect my money, they wouldn’t allow me in the court room during my case wouldn’t return my messages for updates. If your case is not in the Houston area then they don’t actually work your case they send a different lawyer who’s not even associated with them to handle the case. I was not made aware of this until things were said and done. By the time everything was done and over with I ended up owing more money than I did before I hired them. I do not recommend them at all, I wish I would have used my money elsewhere. They do not call back like they say they will with answers. Overall it was a horrible experience with this firm.
This is a scam. Run! Watch out for their sales guy. He'll tell you everything you want to hear just to get the sale. In my case, he literally told me that if they couldn't settle, they'd work out a deal where I could get a payment plan for 10 years. That was a complete lie. After doing minimal work, they told me they couldn't help and that I'm better off just paying the entire amount I owe to the creditor immediately. This was after they took their ridiculously insane retainer. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. I can't stress that enough. You're better off going to court and representing yourself.
I hired this atty.and paid him $750.00 to represent me on a Debt Collection case..May 9,2019.Never spoke with this man.Did not find out my case was dispose and a judgement was placed on me.,until i called the court.$750.00 may not be nothing to some people but to me a life savings.Lost everthing i dad during Hurricane Harvey and now this. Will file a complaint on him at:BBB,and STATE OF TEXAS.:::THIS MAN IS A LICENSE THEFT.
Paid $900. to resolve a debt collection never got my judgement until i received a letter from the debt collectors Attorney offering a payment plan.Look elsewhere for a reputable Attorney to resolve your problems. There is no communication with him after the initial interview and always after that with whoever answers the phone that particular day. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
