We provide free Zoom consultations. And it is not the usual free consultation which is just a "meet and greet." It is a careful review of step parent adoption law, and an analysis of your case. If you elect to go forward, we have a flat fee of $2,500 for a stepparent adoption. This covers about everything in an uncontested adoption: the document preparation and court filings, working with your adoption agency, paperwork for your child's new birth certificate, all the way through to the final court appearance when the adoption can be granted by the court. If your case has extra complications, such as when the absent parent refuses to consent or can't be found, we have very fair flat fees for that as well.
