I, Chris McLane, founded my family law firm to support and guide individuals and families in Colorado through the legal and emotional issues involved in difficult and joyous family and domestic relations matters. I am knowledgeable, experienced and committed to keeping you out of court, focused on the job of raising your children and moving forward in your life.

When two people make the difficult and emotional decision to end their marriage, they find themselves facing complicated decisions regarding children, property and their future. Divorce and other family law matters are never simple. An individualized approach to resolving your family law matters

At the Family Law Center of the Rockies, I remain by your side, advocating for your interests in family law matters that include:

- Divorce - Dissolution is the legal termination of a marriage. Dissolution actions can be uncontested or contested. I provide you with experienced guidance on both.

- Allocation of parental responsibility or child custody - I negotiate parenting and visitation agreements to reduce future modifications.

- Support - child support and maintenance - This is determined by formulas set by the state of Colorado. I ensure the court has accurate information to reach a fair decision on your behalf.

- Modifications - These are changes made to final agreements or court orders relating to child custody, visitation and support when there has been a substantial change in circumstances. I can protect your interests.

Im not going to get to long winded but Chris is the only family law attorney I would recommend. I’ve had 8 attorneys since 2017 for business and family matters. Chris is the best I have hired.. I still have 4 attorneys. Once again Chris is the best. We won everything. I will continue to work with Chris as he is too good to go elsewhere. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better family law attorney than Chris as I have had some horrible family law attorneys. So much I took 2 to court and contested there fees and won. He is very smart and easy to work with. You’ll be thankful you came across Chris. “He’s a real catch” Family law pun intended 😃

Chris always made me feel like he would take care of my and my kids. This was an awful and hard time in my life but I knew he had my back! He comes HIGHLY reccomended by me! Chris takes the time to get to know you and to know what you are looking for and sets out to get just that! He is kind and very hard working! Chris was super friendly and made me feel comfortable sharing everything about my case. He was super knowledgable about all laws and helped me have the confidence I needed to get the case finished with the best solution for my kiddo. We finished it all within a few months and his costs didn't break me on top of my monthly bills... I would definitely recommend him to anybody going through custody.

I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing Chris was on our case. His knowledge and responsiveness was beyond what was expected. Chris was absolutely the most professional and willing to help lawyer i sought council from along with the thought and devotion not to mention the time he spent making sure everything was was all put together.
