I originally hired a lawyer from my city and the retainer fee alone was almost $3,000. My ex-husband and I wanted a No fault divorce, we both wanted the process to be cut dry and no drama...(which the original lawyer from my city wanted us to divide everything, we did not want to do that) we decided to change lawyers and go with Cairns and his staff , they were sent from heaven. The directions to follow were very easy ( which i reread 3xs.) I wish that more people were familiar about this law firm. Thankyou so much for making this drama free for my ex husband and I. I use the Cairns Law Firm for my recent divorce. I did everything online and through the mail with them and I couldn't be happier. My ex husband and I are very amicable. We had sold our house and divvied up all our belongings so we just really needed somebody to guide us through the paperwork. Cairns Law Firm sends you emails, attaches the paperwork that needs to be signed and notarized and directions on when to do each step. Once that is done, you mail the forms back to them and they will file the paperwork for you. That was the main thing I was looking for, because I didn't want to do things incorrectly and have a delay in the time frame of the divorce. I had interviewed other law firms and they were going to charge at least $3,500 to do the same exact thing even though my ex and I had done all the hard work. Depending on which option you pick, everything can be done within 6 weeks.
