The Law Firm of T. Wade Jefferies got this award in 2021
I contacted Wade Jefferies about pending litigation against me. Wade clearly explained all my options to me in the case. He said he could represent me in court, but also gave me everything I would need to represent myself, pro se. For this case, we opted to go on the offensive pre-trial and Wade got the opposing attorney to drop the case pre-trial. Wade definitely knows what he is doing defending litigants and after this experience, there is no one I would rather have in my corner
Mr. Jefferies represented me in my divorce/ property settlement. He was honest, very effective and always advised me well. I have and will continue to recommend him to others.
Wade was instrumental in defending me and my professional reputation as a CPA approximately 20 years ago. He was hired by my professional liability insurance carrier and was there for me throughout the entire 4 year process. His attention to detail and focus were invaluable to me. Ultimately we received a take nothing verdict at trial, and I was completely vindicated, thanks in great part to the efforts of Mr. Jefferies.
I hired Wade when my apartment complex charged me almost $2,000 due to a toilet overflow which flooded my apartment. After one letter, not only did the apartment complex reverse the call, but the ownership group of the apartment personally called to apologize.
It has been my pleasure to have used Wade Jefferies several times in various litigation matters. One was helping my son in bankruptcy. He did a masterful job in getting him cleared of debt and restored his credit.
The other time was helping me in a dispute with a former company I was with. He made the company withdraw on their claims it thought it had. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and ethics of Mr. Jefferies.

I consulted with Wade in family law matter. He clearly explained the situation and the legal implications of each course of action. His courtroom experience and litigation history enabled him to provide valuable insights into my situation. Few family law attorneys combine Wade’s trial experiences and family law knowledge!
I hired Wade when my children's mother moved my one and two year old children to Houston without my consent and had the Houston Attorney General's Office file a child support action in Houston against me. Wade immediately filed a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship lawsuit in Austin, had the Houston Attorney General's case dismissed and obtained an Order naming me as the Possessory Conservator with primary possession. Wade responded to my texts and calls immediately.
Wade’s advise, counsel and representation have netted our businesses significant gains and windfalls. Wade also obtained a judgment on our behalf against a well known con-man in Austin who defrauded us. Wade diligently pursued collection efforts, had a fraudulent lien against his non exempt assets set aside, and showed up at his house with a Writ of Execution and the Constable who seized his prized sports car, motorcycle and gun collection to satisfy the Judgment
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
