Hired Law Firm

Being one of the first times I felt the need to consult an attorney, I was apprehensive at first. They treated me fairly, explained everything to me and at no point in time ever misled me into believing anything that was not accurate just to get my business or money. Ethics wise for what you hear about lawyers in general I would rate them as upstanding individuals.

Mr. Leiden handled the bankruptcy for my husband and myself. About 6-7 months later my husband was hit by a car and killed. I had no idea what to do and Mr. Terry Leiden talked to me and had me do things that aided me in making decisions. Even though there was no outcome in the case, the kindness Mr. Leiden showed me helped very much in my grieving process.

When I did not receive alimony payments as outlined in the original divorce, Mr. Jones took it upon himself to open a contempt case in my defense against my former husband. My former spouse was jailed until a payment was made, and we will be going back before the judge soon for follow-up.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
