Berkowitz Klein LLP was formed in 2005 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. The firm was started by Gerald S. Berkowitz and Robert A. Klein. Both partners have over twenty-four years experience in a wide variety of sophisticated legal matters. Before establishing their partnership, Jerry Berkowitz and Bob Klein worked closely together for many years on several complex commercials cases litigated in the Pennsylvania courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United State Court of Appeals of the Third Circuit. Jerry Berkowitz had been a solo practitioner since 1990 engaged in commercial litigation and commercial transactions. Bob Klein had likewise been engaged in wide ranging commercial litigation and transactions, first as a partner with Rawle & Henderson, and then with Conrad O' Brien Gelman & Rohn. It was while Bob Klein was at Conrad O' Brien that he and Jerry Berkowitz began to work together.
