Originally from Starkville, MS, he graduated from Mississippi State University and began practicing law in Florida in 2003. During this time, he practiced primarily criminal defense and represented thousands of clients whose charges ranged from misdemeanors to murder. Then, in 2010, Mr. Haug returned to Starkville with his wife and daughter and opened The Law Offices of C. Marty Haug, PLLC, a general practice firm wherein he represents clients with a broad spectrum of legal needs. While he still specializes in criminal defense, he also represents clients through Chancery Court and other civil proceedings, including wills, divorce, custody, civil commitments, personal injury, and most any other legal issue.

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I have “Never” worked with an Attorney like Marty Haug. He iexemplifies integrity and professionalism and he truly cares about his clients by giving them “Real Results”. He got my case expunged! He did It in a timely manner and within reasonable cost, Truly an unheard of combination in today’s time. He has definitely hired the right staff and has surrounded himself with employees that have his same values. They care about the people they work with by responding in a timely manner and updating us with clear and precise language. Nathan, his assistant is outstanding. He should be singled out! Thank You Law Offices of C. Marty Haug, PPPLC.
Marty was a fantastic lawyer! I emailed 3-4 lawyers in the surrounding area about my case and he was the only one who responded, and he responded very quickly. He jumped right on my misdemeanor case and gave great advice. I later went back to him for help with an expungement. Marty was very professional, he answered all my questions and emails, and he was successful in helping me out both times I've been to him.
The worst experience I have ever had with someone whose supposed to be a professional. Mr. Haug withdrew from my case because I actually expected him to represent me with my case. He did not provide any monthly billing information. He did not communicate with me. His ability to use technology was very poor. It took him a while to scan a document and send it to me. It took him over two weeks to send me detailed billing and my documents after he withdrew from my case.
