Can I sue for being sexually assaulted?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
You can if you can prove a case, that is that the assault came about because of their failure to provide adequate security. Hard to prove. May cost some money to hire an expert on security etc but you could do it. I don't know anything about your facts so I cant say whether you have a good case or a bad one.

What is considered fair monetary settlement for being hit and forced off the road by an 18-wheeler, which is a company truck driven by the owner?

Matthew Brendan Uhrig
Answered by attorney Matthew Brendan Uhrig (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Office of Matt Uhrig
Fair value for a case like the one you described depends on your husband's long term prognosis. Will he require a surgery? How will this injury affect him in the future? These are crucial questions. I would suggest you consult with an attorney who is experienced in claims involving trucking companies.
