If I fell down icy stairs and injured my lower back and hip and I am currently out of work can I sue my landlord and can he evict me if I sue him?

It all depends on the duty of maintenance and if LL had notice of dangerous condition or not. More details are needed to evaluate the case.

If say a woman hits a man is it okay or legal for a man to hit or punch her back?

Answered by attorney Andrew Tyler Velonis (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Andrew T. Velonis, P.C.
Punching and hitting is not legal. If it is self-defense, meaning that the counter-strike is solely for the purpose of stopping the assault, that may be a defense. If it is revenge, meaning "You hit me, now I am going to hit you", then that is battery. Male or female, does not matter.

Can I sue a restaurant for a foreign object being in the food and breaking a tooth?

Answered by attorney Wayne J Wimer (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Wayne J. Wimer, Inc. P.S.
Document the facts concerning the incident. Keep your restaurant receipt for proof of when it happened. Have your dentist document what he finds on his exam, and get a bill from him. Then submit it to the restaurant and if they refuse to pay you back, consider filing suit against them in small claims' court.
