Meredith P. Yates is an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Orlando office, focusing on complex commercial litigation, including appeals. She actively collaborates with businesses to tackle sophisticated legal challenges.
Prior to joining the firm, Meredith served as a law clerk for the Honorable Aileen M. Cannon of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Honorable Allison J. Rushing of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Meredith was previously a complex litigation and government investigations associate at another global law firm.
While in law school, Meredith interned for the Honorable Richard E. Myers, II of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina. She was a member of her law school’s trial team and served on the North Carolina Law Review and North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. She graduated Order of the Coif from the University of North Carolina School of Law and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
She is admitted to practice law in Florida, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia. Meredith serves as a Pro Bono Coordinator for the firm’s Orlando office.
