Balu Sajeevan is a personal injury attorney based out of Morgan & Morgan’s Wildwood office. His practice focuses primarily on premises liability, slip & falls, trip & falls, negligent or inadequate security, and animal attacks.
Mr. Sajeevan was born in Westchester County, New York and grew up there. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Government and Asian Studies. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, CA and passed the California Bar exam. While in law school, Mr. Sajeevan also started and ran a successful online retail store for aftermarket off-road vehicle performance parts.
In California, Mr. Sajeevan began his legal career as an associate attorney for a large, statewide criminal defense firm, and eventually managed the entire firm. Next, he founded his own law firm with two of his closest friends as partners, and grew the firm, focusing on the greater Los Angeles market and criminal defense, particularly focusing in on crimes like DUI and arson.
Mr. Sajeevan then moved to Southern Florida, passed the Florida bar exam, and joined an international law firm where he began his career in civil litigation. He then joined a boutique civil defense firm in Miami specializing in first-party property insurance claims, and later moved to a larger multi-state firm practicing in the same field. He then joined a small Plaintiff’s personal injury firm where he developed an affinity for litigation and a passion for representing the people against powerful insurance companies.
At Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Sajeevan uses the skills he learned practicing in criminal and civil courtrooms and his experience in representing and suing insurance companies to obtain the best possible results for his clients. Mr. Sajeevan is bilingual in Malayalam.
