Reviews for James
Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I used Mr. Almand for a divorce. He was fair to both parties and not overly expensive. I am still friends with my ex-wife and possibly because of Mr. Almand's efforts. I would indeed recommend him
James assisted me with a Tenant eviction. I was in court and tenant moved out within two weeks of contacting James. He also provide me with a better rental agreement for future Tenants
Very thorough attorney is one of the most effective family law counselors in my area
I have just come across the page and find the negative reviews interesting He has ruined my friend's life with unethical practices. I have evidence.....including where he conspired to drug his client's husband to get a bad drug test. I'll probably end up in jail now.
James Almand is an unethical, arrogant, uneducated lawyer. He is only concerned about himself and how much money he can steal from his clients. As a supposed lawyer, he cares very little about his clients concerns and legal issues. His loyalty is not with his clients, but with the “British Accredited Agency”. This means his loyalty is with the court system and not with his clients. As a past client he expressed no concern about my needs and desires. He makes his own agenda and never listens to his clients’ concerns. He stole 10s of thousands of hard earned dollars from me. He did nothing in my legal defense and could not obtain my constitutional property for me. Please do not waste your time and money on legal defense from James Almand or any other lawyer in the law firm of Ayers, Jenkins, Gordy, & Almand! If you want to be totally represented an at a fair price and a positive outcome, hire a “Public Defender” instead of any incompetent lawyer from this fraudulent law firm.
James Almand is no “Super Lawyer”. He is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever dealt with. If you are his client. He over bills clients, he doesn’t know law, he will not fight for your rights, he pretty much, bends his clients over, and violates/rapes them. Would not recommend him. Even if he was the last lawyer left on earth! Please don’t waste your money or time on him.
Unfortunately for me, an 11 y/o, he was picked by Judge (Bloxom) as my Guardian ad lit. in one of the most contentious custody trials in our area (Dor. Co.) in history and only b/c the two were friendly and played golf, "good ole boys system", at its finest! He had no interest in what I asked for/needed, even after proving to him the well doc. severe abuse/neglect at the hands of my dad (ret. MSP)! He lied under oath, took bribes/kickbacks, wouldn't let me testify and I had to suffer 5 more yrs!
The worst lawyer I have ever dealt with! Very non aggressive. Does not adequately represent his client's demands. Inflates his billable hours. Does not communicate with his clients. Please if you want a positive settlement do not use James Almand! In domestic cases he will drag the process out to inflate his billable hours, then will not guarantee a positive outcome for his client during the court case. Therefore, you will spend a great deal of money for no service.
