Hired Attorney Vicki J. Greene

I represented a party in a matter at the Pasadena courthouse. Vicki Greene was the Judge Pro Tem. A judge Pro Tem is kind of like a substitute teacher. They come for one day because the real judge can not attend. While Vicki enjoys the prestige of being a Judge Pro Tem, she does not take the time to properly prepare. When our matter was called, it was clear that was she had not opened the court file. She had no clue about what was going on in our matter. She asked me if I was representing "the bar tender." The courtroom clerk had to tell her that she was reading from the wrong file. The matter on which I was appearing did not involve a bar tender. It is unfair to litigants who have invested time and resources on a matter, to have a Judge Pro Tem waltz into court the morning of a hearing totally unprepared. She also argued with me in open court when I made requests for my clients. I have appeared before other Judge Pro Tems who were prepared and professional.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
