The chances of success are normally good, but it depends on how he entered the country, has he left and returned, does he have deportations or voluntary returns, etc. You should schedule a consultation with an attorney as it can get quite complex and you need to provide more detail.

Can my husband bring his immediate family from Honduras to America after the interview for the green card?

If he is not in legal status or if you have not received approval for the waiver of the bar, please make sure he doesn't subject himself to the 10-year bar by leaving the USA. Many people leave, only to be shocked when the Consul tells them they can't return for 10 years.

In your situation pertaining to applying for a father who has been caught twice by Immigration and has been in the US a long time, it is best that he obtain a copy of his entire immigration file and consult an immigration lawyer for an opinion as to whether his case can be done along with the lawyer explaining all the difficulties involved.
