Hello,   Depending on your immigration history and reason for wanting to travel, you may be able to apply for Advance Parole from the USCIS. Advance Parole is like getting permission to travel in advance from the USCIS. I have been able to get Advance Parole for my TPS clients in the past so I know it is possible. I suggest you speak to an experienced immigration attorney in your local city to see if you can travel without any problems and they can also help you file for Advance Parole.  Good Luck.   Disclaimer:  The answers to frequently asked questions are based on limited information available to us.    The answer provided is of a general nature and does not establish an attorney - client relationship.  It is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. If he is US citizen, his conviction will not affect his visa application for you. Only convicted criminals for sex crimes against children may not petition for their family.

How soon can I come back from my country to apply for adjustment of status and stay with my wife?

I assume you have a B visa. you can certainly visit the US again using B visa provided the purpose of your visit is consistent with your visa. The fact that you married a US citizen cannot in itself prevent you from visiting the US. Practically, US Immigration should not know you married a US citizen.
