How long it would take me to be able to work if I were to file the I-130, I-485 and I-765 (Employment Authorization) concurrently?

Answered by attorney Phong Thanh Tran (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Law Office of Pho Ethan Tran, PLLC
It normally takes about 2-3 months for you to receive a work permit if you are filing your I-765 concurrently with your I-485 application. However, if you are over the age of 21 and your mother is just now petitioning for you for the very first time, it does not appear as if you are eligible for adjustment of status at this time through your mother's petition. Thus, you cannot file the I-485 or I-765 application unless you are eligible through a different method.

Can i petition for my fiance though I have problems now with the IRS?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
To properly answer you I would need details of the tax obligation, your income for 2010, details of your criminal conviction from 13 years ago, details on your fiance have you had at least one face-to-face meeting with her in the last two years?. If you want to set up a consultation, you can contact me at the number below and schedule a time through my secretary. I do charge for consultations but any fees paid would then be a credit toward the fees for her case.

Can I petition my adopted children as I130 since I am already a permanent US resident?

Justin Wang
Answered by attorney Justin Wang (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Sheppard Mullin
Generally yes. I wonder why your adopted children were not included in your immigration. make sure you have lived with them for at least two years with parental rights.
