If done correctly, you should receive your green card in about 3 months (at least that is the average through our law office).

What can be done if my husband is being ordered for immediate deportation?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
Tell him not to sign anything and advise ICE he is retaining counsel to discuss his options. What city is he in? She needs to immediately retain counsel to go speak with him in detention, assess his options to remain based on his marriage, seriousness of his criminal record, etc. The attorney will have him sign a form indicating he consents to representation and then the attorney can speak with ICE and ICE Counsel about his case, what he is being charged with, advise of his marriage, etc.
