About James Hess

As the founder of Hess & Jendro Law Office, P.A., I have over 20 years of legal experience and focus primarily on business and real estate law. I spend significant time handling commercial transactions for businesses, banks and title insurers and represent numerous clients in the litigation of contract, business and real estate matters. I also practie in the areas of estate planning and probate. In my spare time, I love nordic skiing and am an avid fisherman/outdoorsman. I enjoy spending time with my two sons at our cabin in Ely, Minnesota.

I’m currently serving as vice president of the Upper Mississippi Smallmouth Club. I also serve on the Elk River “Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” Committee for Business and Employment.. I also have served as a ski parent/ assistant coach for the Minnesota Youth Cross Country Ski League.

He was flexible with his availability during this unsettling time with COVID19. It was my first legal experience and he was understanding. Jim was highly recommend to my family. He was thorough along with his various staff members that were dealing with my case. Everything was done in a timely easily understood fashion. It took the burden level off our shoulders, since we are not property lawyers.

Mr Hess did a phenomenal job representing me against a government organization in a very challenging case. He researched similar cases to mine that were sent to trial by the same organization and presented strong arguments with supporting documents in a very prompt and professional manner. He also partnered with a fellow attorney that had a history with a portion of my case, and who was a great source for providing further explanation towards are argument.
