When you didn’t go to court for a DUI and have had a warrant for over a year when you are arrested how much jail time would you get?

It would be much better for you to turn yourself in before getting arrested on the warrant, as many ttimes, the Judge won't punish re failing to come to Court as scheduled, if you are ready to deal with the case now. Consult an experienced criminal defense attorney to help you plan your strategy.

Can I fire my attorney if I don't feel he is qualified?

Michael Lawrence Chastaine
Answered by attorney Michael Lawrence Chastaine (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Chastaine Jones
The direct answer to your question is that you can fire your attorney and replace him with an new attorney. Whether you can get a dry or wet reckless on a .09 depends on a lot of factors - the county your prosecuted in, the driving and your FST to name a few. A dry seems very unlikely but a wet might be possible.

If my husband is on parole and got a DWI last year and turned himself in April 10, 2013 what could be his punishment?

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. Your husband has a couple of problems. He will most likely have a parole violation based on the DUI and new charges (the DUI) to deal with.
