What can I do if my ex husband was ordered to pay me $100 a week for alimony and he failed to do so?

Answered by attorney Mark T. Peters (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Peters Law, PLLC
Does he pay you what he owes or is he behind? If he isn't behind, then it is a matter of timing and I doubt that the court would find him in contempt. If he is starting to accrue a balance, then yes, file for contempt.

Generally, all property (including retirement) accrued during marriage is equally divided upon divorce. Also review the Child Custody, Child Support, and Spousal Support and Alimony pages. You should consult with expert family law counsel.

Is the property now mine if he remarried 11 months ago but did not change through deed?

Robert S. Poydasheff

If the property was granted to you through a court order, then he must quit claim it regardless if anyone's marital status.
