How do one go about firing one's attorney?

It is unethical for one attorney to represent both parties in a divorce. So, if your spouse's attorney agrees to do so, he is either incompetent or dishonest and you will not save any money in the long run.

Is it okay to date if you have separated from your wife and have filed for a divorce?

Answered by attorney Vanessa J. Gorden
Divorce lawyer at GordenLaw, LLC
If you have children, it is generally unwise to start dating immediately. However, unless you are using marital funds to lavish gifts or trips on the new girlfriend, or introducing your children to a revolving door of women, most judges in Nebraska are uninterested in how quickly you started dating again. From a non-legal, practical standpoint, however, immediately diving into dating often causes the other party, the scorned soon-to-be-ex wife, to be hurt and angry and out for revenge. This is why I counsel my clients not to date until the divorce is finalized. Both sides need some time to adjust to the new dynamic.

What should be my next step if my ex failed to execute court ordered agreement?

Annette M Cox Sandoval
Answered by attorney Annette M Cox Sandoval (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Cox Sandoval Law, PLLC
You can file a petition to enforce the court order at issue. If the ex cannot refinance, you can suggest alternative relief to the court including ordering the property to be sold. I would suggest consulting an attorney.
