About Ronald K. Ziff

Ronald Ziff uses more than 25 years of experience to achieve the best possible results for his family law clients. Having devoted his legal career exclusively to family law, Mr. Ziff is an AV rated attorney and became certified as a family law specialist in 1994. He is an active and respected member of the family bar in Los Angeles and a long time board member of the Culver Marina Bar Association. Mr. Ziff has served both as a judge pro tem and as a mediator in Los Angeles County for more than 15 years and has served on the Board of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists. Through his up to date knowledge, legal acumen and years of experience in family law, Mr. Ziff brings a tough, but practical and result oriented approach to family law litigation and negotiations. He also brings to the table his non-legal background as the owner operator of a successful local business which he ran before he began practicing law. I have not been able to EVER get child support from my ex-husband and this has caused terrible financial struggle over ten years. My ex decided he wanted me to pay for someone to do a QDRO. Ron agreed to work with me, and ended up getting me child support as well as my share of the pension. He was careful and thoughtful. And calm.

Hired Attorney

⸻ I hired Ziff for my divorce and regret it. He overcharged me—over $36,663—including billing me just for trying to discuss the overcharges. Important documents I gave him were never filed, and when I raised concerns, he responded with rude, unprofessional language. I reported him to the State Bar. I’m not sure what their full findings were, but his office later called to say the charges would be removed. I would not recommend him to anyone. I also gave him documents that were never returned. I had to basically request another lawyer to approach him trying to get my full file. Total nightmare.
